Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!

Post by darthmunky »

What are everyone's thoughts on this show? A LOT of people hate it, but I personally think it's hilarious. The comedy of this show is a very acquired taste IMO, you can hate it and then after 4 or 5 episodes, you'll love it. Discuss.

It has a Low budget, but it works with the show, I think its funny as hell! Its on really late so I don't watch it very often, but when I stay up night I'll watch it.

What the heck you gonna do if you're on a picnic and have an ice cream and the ants crawl on the ice cream, what are you gonna do? You're gonna eat the ants cause its made out of protein.

John C. Reilly is the man on that show!

Those kids shaking and screaming to the i-Jammer had me in tears. I personally love the show as you can tell from my quote.

The show is very mixed up and hit or miss.

There are great moments like the D'ump and T'ird along with the John C. Reilly "Dr. Steve Brule" and Tairy Greene segments; but then there are freaking brilliant segments like the "100 Years Of Jackie Chan" and 'It's Not Jackie Chan!" sketches they did a while back. But then there's stuff like the C-Bund and other badly assembled sex jokes that are honestly disgusting in general as the sketches aren't set up appropriately to convey the punchline to the viewer in an effective manner.

I haven't caught any of the new season, but I think it's hilarious. They really are a nice type of comedy but they nail it. Fairly extreme weirdness and randomness, many references to pop culture without being cliche, and very unique. The Beaver Boys, Uncle Muscle's Hour, and The Snuggler are great sketches.

Of course, Ruth Carr's "Come Over" is the best hands down!

Nah, Lazy Horse mattress was better:

sung by a black guy to tim & eric as children
