Oh yeah, Jackie Brown actually did suck. I'm no Tarantino connoseur [sic] but I think I've seen every film he's made now that I think of it, and yes, Jackie Brown is a bad movie up and down.
And Pulp Fiction is his best as far as I'm concerned. I totally didn't get the Jackie Brown reviews. They were shitting themselves over how good this movie was back in the late 90's. God, this movie was awful, especially by Tarantino's standards.
Tarantino is good, but like most good film makers, he's limited as well, just has, like, a box, and he can go everywhere in the box, but he can't go outside it.
I saw Shutter Island, it was alright, but you should see it, its actually pretty good, but still just alright.

Whilst I agree Tarantino is indeed "limited", I am quite fond of Jackie Brown. Can't get tired of watching it over and over. The same cannot be said for his other movies however.
