Having trouble remembering game
Hey my friend is over and is curious as to a game he played as a kid, I have failed him in figuring it out so I have turned to you guys, here it is, his description,
"Don't know what system its for, you play as two characters, one male, one female, the girl her weapon is two giant rings in her hands, he only played the demo, and he played through a forest, at the end of the demo there was a boss fight, but it was on a cliff, that is where said boss battle took place"-----he thinks the guy might have had a hammer as a weapon(that could be totally wrong)
thanks guys, looking forward to hoping someone will know

Not ringing a bell yet... what system? If he was a kid I would guess something 8 or 16 bit?

he does not recall the system that it is for, he thinks it was a mix of 2d and 3d, or just 3d, I helped him figure out Super Magnetic Neo and Evolution for dreamcast, this is the first time I have been stumped, but in all fairness, its not much info to work with hathecommontask wrote:Not ringing a bell yet... what system? Could it have been a Dynasty Warriors type game? or less complex? Platformer?

It's likely Threads of Fate for the PS1.

That fits the bill from what I looked up. Never played it. Is it good?

The main character [girl] is kind of whiny, but from what I've played, it's a good game.

I don't remember 2D in the Threads of Fate. I thought it was all 3D.

Yes, but the OP's friend said that he thought it was a mixture of 2D and 3D. I really think this is the game he was referring to.

Topics like this fascinate me. I posted on one www.videogamecritic.net several years ago when I couldn't remember the name of UN Squadron, having played it in 1998 or so.
