I kind of wish the story was told better and they elaborated on it more because for the type of game it is, I found the story pretty interesting. I hope God Hand gets a spiritual sequel and it stars Rodin.

Started playing this on the 360, but instantly got turned off by the first damn puzzle. Is it part of Japanese design doctrine to include emblem puzzles in every goddamn game? Can I skip this bullshit? I just want to hack & slash!!

Don't cheat yourself man!! This game is quite the experience! Sure... it's 1000% japanese and has cooky puzzles, but they are few and far between. This game is second only to Godhand in my book(of games in this genre)!
