That must suck to be unable to get Starcraft 2 or Diablo 3.

Looks like it's official: Former heads of IW are suing Activision for unpaid royalties.

Man, Activision. You are doing no favors for the image of your company.

Considering the last Blizzard I got was Warcraft 2, prolly not! Activision however might be a different story. The last of theirs I got was Wolfenstein, which was ages ago. I wonder if they have anything really original in the pipeline.

Wow, you've missed out on a ton of good games from both companies, such as Starcraft, Diablo, Mechwarrior 2, Quake 2, and the Tony Hawk games.

WTF? I wrote that the last Activision game I got was Wolfenstein. As for Blizzard I never got into their games. I tried demos of their late 90s games and wasn't impressed. TA>SC.

Ah hah, I see the issue. You just have no taste in games. It was scientifically proven that SC > TA (which is not to say that TA isn't good).

No, MrPopo, I'm afraid I'd have to agree with Pulsar on Total Annihilation being better. Overall I had a lot more fun playing TA over the years, and considering the experiences my gaming club had with Starcraft players(ie. thieves), TA has always lead to a much better experience.

Plus, you know it's awesome to see a wind generator explode and the spinning blade goes flying across the map.

I'm not buying any Activision games myself, Pulsar... but nothing that has happened recently has anything to do with it. I just haven't bought an Activision game since...

I don't know when. Have I ever bought an Activision game? I don't see anything in my collection that says Activision. I have Star Wars: Dark Forces, but that was back when LucasArts was still doing it themselves. I almost bought Guitar Hero 3, but I didn't after I played a demo and hated it. Have every Warcraft from 1-3, but got them before the Blizzard acquisition. I only rented the Modern Warfare entries.

I never even bought a Tony Hawk game, a Quake game, a Marvel game since Marvel vs Capcom 2, or even Pitfall. Amazing how this has somehow worked out. I've never had a reason to avoid Activision until now, but I've still somehow avoided them.

So, as much as I'd like to say "You won't be getting any more of my business!"... it's not like that really means anything.
