No, it was literally an arcade cabinet at a pizza place. I'm about 90% sure it's Victory Road, but I don't remember being humans in it. Maybe my memory is distorted. The floating head that talks and moves around in a circular motion is my strongest memory of it, and that's the only game I can find that has it.

No, on page two I posted:
This may be it.

Although I thought (maybe I was wrong) I was in a ship and that were were flying enemies flying in patterns. The floating head talking to me tells me that it almost has to be this because I can't really find anything else that reminds me of it but Sinistar. And I know it's not Sinistar. The floating head that talks is all I'm sure of. Because without the floating head, my memory doesn't mean anything.

Anyone know anything else with a head like that or Sinistar in a vertical scrolling shooter? Maybe this is the game...but I'd definitely like to know if anyone has anything that springs to mind.
The 'it' is Victory Road, but I wasn't sure. It would have to be very similar, with a floating head to convince me that this isn't the game. 99% sure this is the game, but hey, maybe that video will trigger someone's memory of another game.
