USA VMU with Japenese Software
hey there,
I can't get Under Defeat or any other japanese DC game to create a save file on my VMU. The VMU shows up but will not accept a save. Is this normal and if so how can I trick my VMU into being Japanese.

Yeah I use my Australian bought VMU's for japanese games and they work fine.

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

Seems like it is only Under Defeat that won't save. Tried several VMU's, controllers, and cables. I even reset the time and date on both VMU's using the DC control panel. Kinda sucks because I really want to keep stats and start from 2-1 everytime. Damn it!

Never had an issue with Japan / PAL games on my US VMUs either. Out of curosity, is your Day of Defeat original or a backup?
