My Custom Built Nintendo Tunnel
Re: My Custom Built Nintendo Tunnel
That is really trippy! I feel like that is the perfect 420 room.

That sends shivers down my spine. Could not imagine spending longer than 5 minutes in the 'room'. I'm hideously claustrophobic/agoraphobic coupled with mild aspergers/autism makes this room seem like a complete nightmare to me.

Re: My Custom Built Nintendo Tunnel
Man I wish you guys were around on campus when I hosted an event the first night after I built this thing! I gave an open invitation to anyone who walked/drove by this sign that day to come hang out that night and party with me and my friends. I was going to run an event based on the real Nintendo Championship except maybe just play fun VS games or something, tourney style. I thought of doing the Mario, Rad Racer, Tetris score system. It was a total bust. No one I didn't know came, so it was just a few people I knew that stopped in to see me and a few close friends having a great time. It was a bummer but oh well, maybe there weren't any NES fans or they were all skeptic of the situation. It was a sad day when I had to disassemble this.

That's an awesome looking set up. And the poster billboard thing is cool! I would have come... Then I would of gotten freaked out by the blue light coming out from under the door...
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.

Just curious about the back-lights, what kind are those?
I thought purple lights were UV waves, which can damage plastics and metals at the micro level.

While I can't say beyond a shadow of doubt, these are fairly harmless longwave UVA black lights. Perhaps there may be very slight undetectable damage causes but I can't tell. If it became a problem to the things in there I'm unaware of it. It's not the sun, it's a few black lights.skyknight wrote:Just curious about the back-lights, what kind are those?
