So i got Resident Evil 5 (Sealed) in the mail today. The case is badly warped and cracked. I notified the seller but i have not opened it. I don't want to open it, have the discs be scratched to shit and have him not let me return it (because i opened it).
I do have a case i can swap with if the discs are fine. Should i? Or should i return it? Guess i'll just wait to see what he says.

Well was there a picture of it on the auction? Was it visibly warped or cracked?
I would guess it wasn't so yeah return it and get dat cash back.

Re: Damaged Sealed Game from eBay
lol, no there was no pic or anything describing a warped/cracked case. Just a stock pic of the game and that it was new/sealed (And non platinum hits).
Also, I hate returning things to eBay you have to pay shipping and you don't get the original shipping back. So basically you get to part with some money for nothing.

I would try to return it, you didnt buy what was advertised.
It is for this reason I never buy stuff when people have stock images.

If not to expensive, good chance discs are fine go ahead and open it! Unless you want to keep that brittle clear insert jewel case which can easily be matched with a replacement. If discs don't work you should be able to work something out with seller.

Yea but for a CD case to actually warp it must have had some pretty hefty sunlight on it, while the CD's may work, it doesnt mean they have not been damaged.
Re: Damaged Sealed Game from eBay
I don't think its sun damage. It was in a really thin bubble mailer. Looks like it was crushed.
