I am trying to decide which one to get and I would like to get the one that has the best compatibility with the newest games and the best support as far as updating thier software when new problems arise.
I have a DSTT, but they dont seem to want to update the software for it. I know R4 used to but not sure anymore and I have never owned one of the others. So I would like everyones opinions please.

R4 is a waste of money, they're all chinese knock-offs now which are poorly supported.
The best flash cart IMO is the DSTT with YSmenu on it. Coupled with the ezflash 3-in-1 it's the best thing ever. I can boot GBA and DS games from the same micro SD with the same interface, no faffing with GBAexploader or anything else. They all save directly to the microsd too. I have hundreds of DS/GBA games on my 8GB microSD.
I've been out of the 'scene' for a while now though so there might be a better card out there, but that's just my two pence.

I've found that quite a few GBA roms need to be patched before they'll save on my DSTT w/ ysmenu. Maybe I just need to upgrade the software for it, it's been a while.

CycloDS Evolution is a bit on the pricer side but the build quality is fantastic and it gets regular firmware upgrades.
I've also heard good things about Acekard 2i, but I don't have experience with it.
Avoid R4 and M3 cards.

I haven't had a problem saving with my ysmenu DSTT since I put the latest YSmenu on it. Maybe your ysmenu is out of date?

Could someone direct me to the "YSmenu"? Meaning, a good site to download from.

Yasu's site is here. It's about halfway down the page. Looks like 2009/3/27 is the latest version. But it seems like he's using a counter service that is down, so I can't access the file right now. I did find a megaupload with the same file name, so I'm going to try that.wclem wrote:Could someone direct me to the "YSmenu"? Meaning, a good site to download from.

Don't get a Acekard 2i, after a while, the contacts get more difficult to connect, and you have to keep re-seating the card. It's even screwed up my DSi's system software a few times. Avoid the 2i at all costs. I recommend a CycloDS. It has a ton of cool features, and has a very neat and organized system menu.
