so one of my biggest addictions lately is tumblr. i don't think i'll start my own, but i can waste hours just looking at pictures on someone else's. i think my personal favorite is this one (occasionally not safe for work):
do we have a racketboy tumblr? why not!? not sure how the whole trackbacking thing or whatever works on tumblr, but people could link to us and we could link to them and it would be fun blah blah blah spread the name of this site blah blah blah
I have difficulty explaining what Tumblr is. Technically, it's a blogging platform (that makes posting and re-posting really easy), but I'd say it's attractiveness stems from the Tumblr community.
yeah, tumblr is a little hard to explain. someone tried to explain it to me about two months ago and i thought the idea was stupid and pointless. but i think jfrost is right about the main attraction being the community itself - reblogging other people's pictures is a good way to spread cool/funny/sexy/whatever photos online. it'll show you a list that says so-and-so liked this, blah-blah reposted this, etc. more than posting (i started a tumblr last night!) my main interest is just looking at interesting pictures - especially cat, japan, or old manga/old game related stuff
i still think it would be a cool idea for a few forum members to get together to make a racketboy tumblr dedicated simply to posting retro game related pictures. we could share a login and password (i don't think they allow multiple people to post on the same blog, do they?) and it would be something fun to do... anyone interested?
You had me until the picture of Princess Peach in a bikini...I'll never get why people spend good time making pictures of video game/cartoon characters in compromising pictures...I can look at real tits any day...
not sure, but that's most definitely fan art. could be an original character? signature on the bottom left says "luis (or louise?) maji KY... not a japanese artist, i'm guessing
