Being on the 360 would be a handicap for me, anyway. No Bat-Type Joysticks for the 360. Still, I played KOFXII at AWA using the 360 d-pad, and remained undefeated the whole time.

That's one of those accomplishments I'm going to remember forever, like when I beat Metal Slug 2 at Pizza Hut without taking a hit, and when I took out 10 guys in MAG by myself and took over their com tower without backup.
very impressive accomplishments 7K. 8)

now you really really make me want to play you KOF or SF even more. I love a good challenge. :)

Well, I suck at SF. (Well, SF2 and 4, anyway. I'm decent at Alpha and III) Far too defense based, not enough offensive options.

Doesn't matter if I'm playing a fighter, a shooter, an RTS or anything - I will always go for the most offensive, high-speed, overly-kinetic "Zerg Rush" style of play possible. From where I'm sitting, the ONLY defense is a good offense.

I'm "ok" on SF4 and III. Alpha and SF2 series I'm good at. I do suck at the vs series (MVC) .

On a funny note, that is exactly how I play Virtua Fighter...

I would say ultimately I'm better at Street Fighter, though that's because I've spent a lot more time playing them. I hadn't actually played any King of Fighters games up until about two years ago. My experience before that with SNK was limited to the SNES port of Samurai Shodown and many non-fighters on the Neo-Geo. While I'm competent at most fighting games I play due to having played many fighters, anyone with any amount of real dedication to KOF will probably wipe the floor with me.

As for my avatar, I haven't played more than a few rounds of SVC, but it did feature some of my favorite images of Dan, hence why I used it. I know, I need to get around to picking it up.

So anyone think they're gonna remake all the old stuff like old sprites and old stages into this one?
Personally, I'd want Terry's "176th Street" theme back. And K'.

I trust they know what they're doing. Many people say XII was to reboot the series look, and since all that time went into making this unique, great looking style, now they can focus on all the stuff they missed out on.
