Recommend me some puzzle games like Braid or Portal.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Ah! That's a good choice. I haven't played that one, but I remember it looked like it had a Lemmings-style puzzle quality to it, if I'm correct. I'll have to find a copy.

For others interested in adventure puzzle games, I thought up a few others from the old days. These classics can all be found on the NES:
Solomon's Key
Adventures of Lolo
Solstice

Yes, that is a great game. And yes, I've played it.
Same with Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.

Perhaps I am just a hard person to recommend games to because I have played so many. I like this site though because someone always thinks of something I haven't tried, like Lost Vikings or Goof Troop. Actually, looking into it a bit more, Lost Vikings looks an awful lot like Trine, except the you never leave your characters behind in Trine, you just cycle through them.

I remember LV. (another "game term overuse acronym" sorry) One viking had a shield, one could jump and red could run and slash. Team effort to overcome various puzzles. Another PS1 game to go back and explore, wonder if there is a cell phone version, should fit.

You reminded me of one, Loco Roco. Well maybe not much of a puzzle element.

There are a lot of good flash puzzle games; granted, there's not too much to them, but at least they're plentiful.

I have not played either Braid or Portal, so forgive me, but for some reason Myst and Raven come to mind. I also haven't played those extensively, but I remember them requiring a lot of thinking and the puzzles were presented in 3D environments, but those seem like games I'm sure you've played.
