I got really far in Metriod Prime a while back. I stopped playing it for some reason and the longer i have not played a game the less i want to play it again (unless im starting over). Always hated learning all the controls and everything when your that far in a game. Even worse in these types of games where you get new abilitys that let you get items/power ups ..but.. you need to remember where you saw them earlyer in the game! lol.
Should i try to beat it or just move on?
P.S. This also applies to Resident Evil 4. I have RE5 in the mail and stopped really far into 4 lol
I just picked up Prime 1 last week. Im about 18% thru, but got stuck. Its pretty fun but I can see myself getting bored with it, cause i can't figure out what to do next. Im going to pick up the guide this week to help me out.
I am a massive believer in playing games in order, and finishing them before moving on (I have not play Halo 3 which I have had for the past odd year and a half because I am yet to finish Halo 2...because I got bored of Halo after finishing 1 )
I bought Jak 3 before I ever bought 1 & 2. I got pretty far, but never completed it. Now, I can't decide if I should play through 1 & 2 in sequence first, or just finish out 3 since I'm already more than halfway through it. I think I'm going to finish 3 and just consider it something like Star Wars where you see the last half of the story first. Of course, then I have to decide whether to play Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier directly after I finish 3, where it belongs, or should I go back and play 1 and 2 before the final one. Confused yet?
Just be warned, Echoes is brutally hard. If you gave up on part I you will almost certainly give up on Echoes due to the extreme difficultly. Your better off finding out where you are in part I and finish that before moving on. Thats what I would suggest. I was going to do the same thing as you and skip part I but I stepped up, finished Prime I and was glad I did.
