I have money now, might as well waste it an destroy my senses! I am planning on building an upright Arcade cabinet, not a huge one, but smaller. Maybe a 17" screen.
I have this older laptop runs Windows XP with 1GB of ram, would it be possible to use that for a simpler game like this? or should I use an older desktop?
I will be using this "version" of the game. http://www.sinnesloschen.com/1.php

I remember having troubles getting this to run. Looks like you need a good computer to support all the options.
Video Mode: 1600x1200x16, maybe test on your computer.
Here are some other Urban Legend games, remember Last Star Fighter?

I've been meaning to ask for a long time. How do you pronounce Polybius? Is the stress on the "bi" is it a long i or a short i?
Re: Polybius Arcade cab build thread
I can't believe I forgot about this!
The Escapist Magazine show Doomsday Arcade also features Polybius, but I forgot it was the arcade cabinet of legend. I read about this at least 10 years ago and I don't remember why I looked it up or how I stumbled on it, but it's a really interesting piece of gaming history.
I'll definitely try this out.
