NES replacement manuals from Nintendo.com

I might be late to the party on this - but has anyone bought any of the replacement official manuals from Nintendo.com? They have NES and SNES manuals for 1.25, games like Zelda, Icarus, etc. Does anyone know if these are full color originals.. because it is quite a deal if it is. I'm ordering some DS cases and thinking about filling out some of my manual collection with these!

I've heard that some are full color originals, and some are xeroxed pages. And you don't have any idea which you'll get. I've also heard you can call and order them over the phone, and if you do it that way you can confirm that you'll get the full color original.

They also have more items than their website lists if you call them. Just FYI . I just placed an order by phone a couple weeks ago and less than half the items I got were even listed in the store. They can also tell you the current stock and things like that.

I ordered one for SMB All Stars and it was a colored xerox copy

Hmm.. definitely wouldn't be down with a xeroxed copy. It would be especially awesome if they were originals. We'll see tomorrow.

Yeah it specifically states on the page that you might get a photocopy.

i actually ordered some NES manuals via mailorder from nintendo back in 1997. i don't remember if they charged me for the photocopies, but i did get a few photocopies and some originals and i do remember them being quite cheap

Psst.....Why did you post this?! It's supposed to be a widely known secret! Now all the eBay collectors are going to go at it and I want some of those manu....... I mean us deserving gamers won't be able to get those manuals.

Oh and yeah Ninty's online store and phone catalog are awesome and different! From time to time you can still get system parts for SNES and N64 consoles there at cheap prices along with factory remanufactured GBA SP's and more!
