I buy things with the intent of playing them mostly. So, that means I don't really bother wasting my already limited space on storing awful games.

I've gotten quite a few crappy games over the years. Mainly because what other people call crappy, I sometimes call fun. I figure if it has even a little bit of appeal its worth trying out. I can always trade/sell it if it doesnt suit my tastes.

I'm only about twenty or so games away from having a complete pal saturn collection about thirty to forty from a complete pal dreamcast collection. As much as i love these systems there is a lot of filler in there but i've still bought them. I do have the intention of playing through as many as i can but when theres games like the Crow for the saturn and any wwf(e) dreamcast game it'll be tough.
I haven't slept for ten days, because that would be too long.

I've bought some crappy games, because they were considered good for their time, and top-10 retro articles kept calling them good, but when I played them, cause I didn't have the infamous nostalgia glasses on, I found them crap.
But no I've never bought a game knowing it's crap.

Like someone else said, I wouldn't buy a crappy game unless it had awesome cover art or I could use the box/case for something better. I have so many fricken' games I barely have enough time to play the good ones.
I picked up Super Mario RPG at the thrift store for $4. I've also picked up nearly mint condition NES games like Metroid in box with poster and all. Can't go wrong with garage sales either.

Never on purpose, but sometimes the cover art will lure me in.
Re: When collecting, do you buy Terrible Games?
I will but anything as long as its in good condition and I dont have it. I will keep anything that is given to me as long as I can wipe it down, change its case and make it look almost new.

I have bought many crappy games in an attempt to have complete sets. It's a part of collecting.
