Post by abeisgreat »

Well i just got it, and heres my thoughts,

Controls : Clunk and Slow
Camera : Incredible Bad
Story : Awsome
Idea : Awsome

I wish it had 2 player. And i like the game but in times of intense actions i find my self getting lost from camera angles

I have mixed feelings on the controls. Sometimes they feel just right, but other times they do feel a bit sloppy.

The controls are initially hard to get used to, but with enough gameplay, it becomes second nature.
Hard to explain....

And yes, the cops are pain, but that's the idea.... You need to strategize to make your difficult tags before the cops come for you. If you leave the easy ones until last, you can breeze though them and not have to worry about the cops as much.

The game is a bit unpolished, and that definitely makes it a bit frustrating initially, but you get better with practice and memorization. It just has a bit of a learning curve

You know it's funny. I didn't appreciate this game much when I first played it, yet the passage of time has really elevated my opinion of it. I haven't really played anything since quite like Jet Grind Radio. Meanwhile, there are tons of games I have played over the years that I have completely forgotten. The real classics stay with you

For some reason, I loved Future's intro a lot more. That song really stuck in my head and the intro seemed to really properly create the whole "feel" of a Jet Grind Radio game.

The game as a whole was easier to get into, but perhaps because of this, not as rewarding. I'm a bit biased towards the original too because I played it first. The first entry of a series tends to leave the biggest impression, unless a sequel completely blows it away in every way which Future didn't quite do

And why did they change the leader of the gang? That was weird
