Star Castle (cocktail)

Post by xxstatic »

I just picked one of these up for practically nothing...

ImageImageImage

It works great and def could use a good cleaning, it was advertised as a Space Invaders machine but when I got there it clearly was not, and as a matter of fact I have never seen one of these ever...hard to believe since I've been playing arcade games for over 30 years... :o

Anyone got any info on this machine and or background on the game company?? :)

Thanks

Looks like the cocktail version is a bootleg made by Hoei.

This thing is built better than my Donkey Kong upright though.

Going to have to put it to work and get my vector game on...

holy shit dude. Did you blitz the guy with a gun BECAUSE THAT WAS A STEAL!

Even if you had no interest in the game inside, it'd be more than worth it to gut for parts and build a mame cocktail.

Believe it or not no violence was needed...

I was thinking the same thing but now after looking it over and being it being so foreign to me I don't think I would go mame with it unless it totally crapped out. The game itself plays a lot like Yars Revenge cept with vector graphics, and has an Asteroids feels to it....ahh..its already growing on me...
