Need For Speed 3DO Question

I have a question about the original Need for Speed game on the 3DO. A friend and I have been trying to figure out how to use multiplayer in it for a while, but have found nothing. I'm fairly sure the game supports 2-player mode, but the textless menus are no help. So, how do I play multiplayer in this game?

I had this game when I was a teenager but can't remember if I played 2-player or not. Hope you find out BTW- Best version of this game available IMO. Trumps the PS1 version by miles.

To be honest, I really don't recall a 2-player mode on the 3DO version. I'm pretty sure the PSX and Saturn versions had it, though.

I own the Saturn, 3DO and PC versions... but I don't have them in the same country as me to check, unfortunately.

Oh well, at least you have it! I was completely addicted to that game in about 1995. Making a multi-car pile up at the bridge on the alpine course was tons of fun!

I'm pretty sure it is 1-player only though. Try some old Gamepro magazine scans from 1994 or so?

Gamepro Magazine scans you say? where might one procure said scans? I've been dying to read Gamepros outside of my 94-95 subscription (which were effing amazing.)
