I demand a Burgertime movie adaptation. And after that, Centipede. Anyone heard of the Human Centipede? Don't bother to look it up

I wanted to get a group to do a human Centipede like a Chinese festival dragon at a convention. I though ti would be really funny for anyone who knew what it was.

Actually this actually happened.

The rights to Missile Command, Burgertime and Asteroids have all been sold to various studios in the last few years.

It's freaking crazy I know, but that's Hollywood, right?

Rights being bought and movies being made are two COMPLETELY different things.
Examples:
Enders Game film rights were bought in 2003.
No Bail for the Judge rights were bought by Hitchcock in 1956.
Disney bought the rights to all of the first 40 canon of Oz and only gave us Return to Oz.
The Live Action Lupin the Third rights were bought back in the late 90s.

I severely doubt they will create any movies based on those old properties. But on the converse, these guys need more money and need to make a Punchout film:

I dont care if it becomes Rocky 12, itll be funny.

"Why can't I be Mr. Hot Dog?"

"Mr. Hot Dog's on another job. You're Mr. Egg."
