save feature on various games

Post by tahoe2 »

Newb question.

With various games like "plok" and "earthworm jim 2" i can save my data. So when i gameover, i can start at the beginning of a world i just got to. But when i turn of the system, and play again, I have to start from the very beginning.

Is it supposed to be like this?

I'd just like a simple yes, no, or something is wrong with the games answer. It's probably a dumb question, but i just want a quick answer.

So, bump.

Well I know with EWJ2 the pass system only allows you to play certain levels you've unlocked until you turn the game off. So no, this game doesn't save your progress. Don't know about plok, though.

It would help to know which console we're talking here. Is it the NES? SNES? etc.
