It seems to me that SFIII characters translated fine to 3D, but Alpha characters all look goofy.

They look the same to me.

Everybody in SF4 looks equally goofy.

Yeah, I'll second that. To me, all the SF4 characters look like imitation McFarlane toys.

I just realized something. I'm super stoked for Super Street Fighter IV Turbo.

Now that all the SF2 characters are here, they can't fall back on putting any of them in for the next game. All they have left are characters from SF1, SFA, SF3... or brand new ones.

Plus, I'll bet that they won't be willing to release SSF4T for $40 like they're doing with SSF4, so they'll probably really pump the game up. Maybe even bring Isms/Grooves back or something.

and then there will be Super Street Fighter 4 Turbo Upper, which will have every single character in the SF universe including all those guys from the EX series which were never in anything else.

You're living in a dream. SSF4T will give us an option to change the speed between 1 and 4 stars and change Chun-Li's Kikoken back to the HCF motion. Oh, and new colors for everyone. That's it.

There's also the fact that the final versions of SF games were far and away the best.

Eh... I preferred Street Fighter Alpha 2 over Alpha 3.

Otherwise, you are correct. And I still really liked Alpha 3.
