What Ambitions Do You Have For Your Game Room?

Post by racketboy »

What types of things have you been looking forward to doing to your game room (realistically) that you just haven't had the time or money to do?

Right now, my gaming room is actually my home office and I just got around to putting some more shelving in.
But now I'm planning on organizing more.

my room is quite small so first and forth most i would like a bigger room. i swear if i win the lottery i am going to buy a house and make that my gaming arena. I would just like to be able to have things organize. Maybe I could have done it if I did not put a bunch of things in my room. But I would love to be able to just have it all organized.

I just recently did some upgrading to my entertainment center, so now I finally have the space to hook up all of my consoles. They're all on top of the unit, ready to go: NES, SNES, N64, PS2, and Wii (GCN is sitting there just to complete the set). And who says childhood dreams don't come true?

id like to try to get a new tv, maybe a slightly bigger one, and a new stero, one thats not from the same era as the games im playing.
If a console has a cool feature, it was probably stolen from the Dreamcast.

Somehow, I want to figure out how I can hook up my plethora of systems without having to deal with a million input selector switches.

hehe -- If I had access to all the games I have now when I was a kid, I would have flipped out :)
My mom was smart back then -- I really wouldn't have gotten my homework done :)

I would love to get all my in-laws crap moved out of the spare room to get it set up, to begin with. Now I am about to move and may have to ditch a nice GC display so it will never factor into my setup. Most of all I need to find a cheap but tasteful way to hang large thin plastic posters that doesn't damage them. Entire framing is expensive!
