Re: Bulk Slash Review (link)
The game finally came in. Kudos to Play Asia. This thing may be marked preowned but it could easily pass for nib. The version I purchased is the re-release (greatest hits).
Wow, this is one of the most unique games I think I own. So much going on here...
-The color pallet rivals even the most colorful Capcom games from the time.
-The 3D engine is one of the most solid I've seen in a 32bit era title (but it's on the Saturn!!!).
-The levels are massive.
-One of the first games I have played in full 3D that truly captures the 16 bit gameplay feel. If in 1990 you had come up to me and said, "In 6 years, most of the games on the market will be in worlds with 3D based polygons." - this is what I would have expected to see.

59.99 price tag is ouch, though.

Yup! To me that's what keeps this game relevant today. Even on the Saturn there are few games that do that. Perhaps the Gundam Side Story games are in the same boat.wip3outguy7 wrote: -One of the first games I have played in full 3D that truly captures the 16 bit gameplay feel.
