Cybermorph aint all that bad. Its a bit stale, but its kinda playable. Battlemorph is alot better though. But its not much improvement.

Even with a cart in, if its not making good full contact it won't come on either. Sucks that the screws are under the cart label so really tricky to get them open without damaging them for a thorough clean.

Wasn't this a recent purchase too?
Hopefully with a cart it will be fine. Keep us updated.

Is there another common problem that the Jag won't turn on? I have a backup that I was given free when I bought a load of games off some dude on craigslist, but the Jag didn't boot up with any game that I own. My other Jag works perfectly. I also opened mine up but couldn't really see anything wrong. Is there a fuse in these things that's a common problem and needs replacing?

I couldn't really find much online, but all of my searches kept taking me back to the AtariAge forums, so I'd check there to be sure.

That having been said the console looks to be of an extremely high build quality. Mine was manufactured right here in Charlotte, NC by IBM in 1993, so clearly Atari didn't skimp out with cheap parts.
