How to Clean or Fix Sega Saturn Cart Slot

Would using a pen work? I use a ball-point pen clicked down to move CPU pins.Hobie-wan wrote:You'll have to carefully try bending he pins

Wasn't there also some sort of cart to let you load movies off a CD?

Yeah, there's a VCD card, but I think that connects to the back of the console.Ziggy587 wrote:Wasn't there also some sort of cart to let you load movies off a CD?

Well, you don't want to end up getting ink in there. An ice pick or something else pointy that's clean would be better. But if you got them bent back in place without a mess, then it should hopefully be ok.GSZX1337 wrote:Would using a pen work? Correct, the VCD decoder fits in back where the battery goes.GSZX1337 wrote:Yeah, there's a VCD card, but I think that connects to the back of the console.Ziggy587 wrote:Wasn't there also some sort of cart to let you load movies off a CD?

I use the pens when they ran out of ink.Hobie-wan wrote:Well, you don't want to end up getting ink in there.GSZX1337 wrote:Would using a pen work? I use a ball-point pen clicked down to move CPU pins.Hobie-wan wrote:You'll have to carefully try bending he pins

Re: How to Clean or Fix Sega Saturn Cart Slot
Random thought. Has anyone ever modded a 4 meg ram cart or memory card into a Saturn? I mean sure it is not the best idea if you play alot of different games, but I havent swapped my card out from 4 meg in well over a year. And itll either need to be painted or modded inside the slot cause the white is starting to take color.
Re: How to Clean or Fix Sega Saturn Cart Slot
Some one posted a thread asking how to do that...
