At this point I'm just curious enough to shoot this guy an offer. Heck, if he's convinced it's broken I might be able to get it for a steal! :mrgreen:

Could be something simple as on the wrong TV channel, or because the 7800 has a RCA jack the seller might have forgotten that it is a RF signal not composite. The obvious is sometimes elusive.
