FC-16 Go - Portable SNES

Post by Le_Mons »

Anyone have one of these? They are on sale at a lot of sites for $50, so I ordered one. Seems like a chunky, but fun little gadget.

Here are some links:

Wanted to see if anyone else had one. I can post pics and impressions once I receive it.

http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17816 I have one, just a word of advice, don't leave it plugged in too long. The LCD screen gets messed up if you do. Otherwise, its a great unit and breaths new life into my carts.

All considering, for $50 it's pretty bad ass and it's on sale at Stone Age Gamer for $45 I noticed today. Just treat it like you would any cheap console from Asia, carefully! I haven't noticed a problem with it being plugged for too long and messing up the screen, but I did notice that the sound dial has a point in it where it jumps from soft to loud. Don't know if it had that when I first got it. Also, turning the volume all the way down, doesn't mute the sound completely. Anyhow, I think it's worth the cash and for now it's really the only portable SNES option out there, unless you're making your own.
