Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Back on topic, does anyone have a specifically scheduled maintenance routine for consoles and games?

Not I. If I get something new in, it gets cleaned. If its a game, that means that the games for that systems will be rearranged as needed to put in alphabetically. That's about it unless I notice something getting a bit dusty or dirty.

This is basically my current regime There was a time in my life that I obsessed over the before mentioned symptoms of Luke, but this simply isn't the case anymore. I also used to count from 10-1 before I'd start brushing my teeth, shampooing my hair, or counting an even number of strokes while combing my hair. I also spent 8 years in the Army. We'll just stop right there

Um, I'm not the ocd person here. I clean my games and consoles around once a month, that is all.

I do this all the time. I just can't resist getting them, even if I know it won't do me any good.

After a certain someone mentioned THPS, I remembered a tad of OCD. I hate falling in that game, period.

If I fell, I'd restart. Over and over. I always wanted to collect every tape in one run without bailing.

I don't think I have any OCD habits. Well, maybe it's the fact that I have almost at least 2 of every handheld/console in my collection except for Saturn and the Wii. It's only because I'm able to procure a second at a really good price. I'm looking for a second Wii that I can mod to put SunDriver in it because I would really like to be able to play my Gamecube games off the hard drive. Then I can put the original media away for good.

That's because you are mad.
I hated the bit in Half Life 2 when you get warped and then fall into the water and that huge creature tries to eat you. OMG WORST NIGHTMARE. That thing haunted my dreams for weeks. I would be having a nice dream, and then all of a sudden I would fall through the floor into water and one of those things would attack me. Then I'd wake up.
I'm guessing you hated the first Half-Life even more. Those things were fucking everywhere in the water and they charged right after you.

I don't really have any OCD habits. I think my laziness just overpowers my need to complete everything. If it's a game I really enjoy (like a Ratchet and Clank game) then I'll get every damn thing the game has to offer. Other than that the only real OCD habit I have it hoarding everything I come across. Fallout 3 really pissed me off because I couldn't carry all the weapons or outfits/armours I found. I want to carry my sexy nightgowns, dammit! For some reason, the weight limit didn't bother me very much in S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
