Did they ever make an action replay for Dreamcast?

Post by CFFJR »

If they did, does anybody know where I can find one? My DC is NTSC if that matters.

Thanks.

Cheating was the plan. Imports would be nice side bonus, but not necessary.

Until you said it I didn't even know they made a gameshark for DC. I checked it out and found a few on amazon.

Thanks for your help my good man!

The Gameshark works very well. It lets me load up Shenmue II and Headhunter, both EU versions, on my NTSC machine. Never a glitch, works great.

Be careful which one you buy depending on what you want to do. Gameshark Lite, I believe, doesn't allow you to play imports and might not allow you to enter additional codes (I think it can only use codes pre-loaded on the software).

you might as well burn it because if you don't have a dc that read burn discs it won't read a AR bc it is a mil-cd.

No worries!

I just ordered it, and it is indeed CDX for dreamcast.

I did see gameshark lite, but it was recommended after I completed the order for the CDX, heh.

There is Gameshark CDX and also Action Replay CDX, basically same take your pick.

Note the Memory Dongle on the left, make sure you get that along with the disc.

I recommend Codebreaker since it doesn't need it's own special memory card and can boot some imports that Gameshark CDX can't. The Gameshark CDX has a laggy menu system and requires the memory card plugged in.
