Damnit A new obsession awaits.
That's a really fun game; the Metal Slug main theme was always one of my favorite video game tunes, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was in the portable version! 2nd Mission is even better, too. It has voices for the power-ups, just like the Neo-Geo games.
Also, I left out 2 games to my want list:
Fatal Fury: First Contact
Neo Turf Masters
Heck, I'd want to get every Neo Geo Pocket game. Probably an expensive endeavor, but the library is small enough that it would actually be possible.
I still haven't added any new games to my library since I bought it from dsheinem. So far, that's:
Metal Slug 2nd Mission
SvC - Card Fighters Clash: SNK Version
Neo Turf Masters
NeoGeo Cup '98 Plus
Neo Dragon's Wild
Pocket Tennis
First game on my "To Get" list is SNK vs Capcom: Match of the Millenium. Also know someone locally who has Samurai Shodown 2 for the NGPC - might be able to buy it off of him.

Neo turf Masters is my favorite game on the system! Oh, Snk Vs Capcom:MotM is my number1 want game for the system
I like MoTM because I was never very good at traditional 2D fighting games. I don't like having to memorize moves and combos, especially since they're so difficult to pull off in most games. Sometimes, it's just fun to go nuts and try random button combinations, and see what happens. That's where MoTM comes in. It effectively treads the line between strategy and button-mashing, making for an extremely fun game. Also, there are many difficulty settings; the highest settings will make the game a challenge that an experienced 2D fighter fan can really sink their teeth into, while the lowest is easy enough to make it an entry game for newcomers. This sounds obligatory, but it actually is significant to balancing out the game; a lot more so than most fighters. It's one of my favorite fighting games [since it's one I can actually beat].
This thread makes me regret I didn't bring mine to college with me. Biomotor Unitron is one of my favorites. It's like Pokemon with a ton of customizing and dungeon crawling. Very fun game that I have yet to play all the way through. Only other game I have for mine is Sonic which is surprisingly a great game. The joystick really works well for it and translates the Genesis experience. I need to get back on board get more games......if I ever have money again.

I am very excited to get to own a NGPC, there is one on hold for me at my local games shop. I am just VERY concerned about the prices for most of these games, and therefore am going to be rolling with Sonic Pocket Adventures for a while (which is okay).
My main question is, are there any quality, inexpensive shooters for the NGPC? I'm pretty sure that if I'm not playing Last Blade, SNK v Capcom or Puyo, then I'm probably going to want to have a good shooter to back that up.
Another question is, besides the usual eBay and Amazon, is there a GOOD, reliable place I can find most titles, regardless of price (although, places with lower prices would be nice to know as well)?
Last question (small one).... Is Evolution bilingual? I.E. if I bought the Japanese cart, could I change the language to English? (Why they didn't have a link-up bonus between the Evolution for NGPC and the DC is beyond me...)
I also have a Wonderswan Crystal, but have never found a game for it, and wouldn't know where to begin, so I was thinking about trading that lil' guy in, but after reading a few posts here, I rethought that. Inexpensive games, for the most part, and region free! So... Bonus!

Welcome to the site! As far as games for the NGPC go, I would really suggest trying to bid on a bundle of games on eBay. I know you asked for sites other than eBay, but I won a bunch of great games for real low cheap. Search for bundles instead of individual games and you will make out like a bandit!
I have been looking at eBay, and have narrowed down some users who don't over-inflate their prices, which will be good for when I have the cash to burn.
As far as the bundles go... I'm not too glad about most of the games featured in the bundles. Sure, I'd be glad to if I didn't know already what I wanted to a certain extent, but most of the games would be laying there. I don't want to 'experiment' with new titles for a new system I buy until I pretty much have a decent base locked down. Like the first few games I got for the Saturn when I bought it were NiGHTS, X-Men v Street Fighter, Quake, and Megaman X4.
I'll be keeping my eye out, though. There's a great and inexpensive bundle on Amazon, but it'll probably be gone by the time I have the cash to buy it
Really, as long as two out of every three games in a lot is something you'd play, it's a better idea to go with the lots.
When I started building my Saturn collection, I did it with lots. Ended up getting some great deals - for example, I got SFA2, MSH, Night Warriors and Battle Monsters for $15. Most of those games go for about $10, so it was a great deal - even though Battle Monsters is a pretty bad game. And even with Battle Monsters being a bad game, it's still fun to play every now and then for shits and giggles.
And even if most of the games are games you wouldn't play, it's still a good idea sometimes. For example, I got a Genesis lot for $37 that included two systems, and about 30 games. 15 of those games were completely worthless sports titles, but the rest of the games were average (Judge Dredd, Lawnmower Man) to good (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II, Samurai Shodown). Ended up trading the sports games to another store for a sweet Genesis arcade stick.
Then, of course, there are the lot deals that I didn't get. I remember seeing a Saturn lot - with the system and a bunch of Japanese games - go for $90. The lot had to have been worth at least three times that.
It's these experiences that have taught me to always look for lot deals.
