Somers Town. It's more of a feel-good movie but the pacing is so relaxed it can be watched without focusing too much. But was it necessary to shoot it in black-and-white?

Re-watched HUDSON HAWK again. I need to stop watching movies and start beating more games.

It's definitely one of those movies that after you watch you think, "Okay. Now exactly what did I just watch?".

Still, I find it very re-watchable, and it has aged very, very well.

Saw Pandora last night - it is Titan AE meets the Decent. I really liked this movie. Great Sci-fi action although there are plenty of people out there that don't seem capable of following the movie - in other words, don't let the comments on the imdb message board throw you off. There is nothing complicated about this film. Pure fun.

EDIT: sorry the movie is called Pandorum. I am actually watching it again and I must say, give a few tweaks here and there, and this could have been an awesome Doom movie. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Doom movie, but more for the novelty factor and because I am a big Karl Urban fan. I think if this movie had been a Doom movie (again with a few necessary changes) it would have done very well - aside from that fact that this movie did pretty well anyway, add the novelty of it being based on Doom and it would have been off the charts.

Watch it and you will see what I mean.

Also saw Red Mist, which I really liked. All out of body experiency and possessiony and dorky kid gets his revengy. Plus, Arielle Kebbel looked outstanding. She is becoming a true scream queen. I love when actresses and actors who have what it takes to do any genre of movie they want choose horror. Much like...

Jeffrey Combs who I saw in From Beyond. I have not seen many of the movies based on HP Lovecraft films, but I am obsessed now. This movie was very good and based on a very interesting concept regarding the pineal gland and the fourth dimension. Sure the special effects and monsters were corny by today's standards (the film is from 1980 I think), but it is the type of movie that thrives on a bit of cheesiness.

Also saw Devour. I liked the movie, but it isn't too memorable. Basically Satan uses a video game to find her long lost child who has become good and refuses to take on his role as the prince of darkness. I guess you can make more of it and say it is a debate between nurture vs. nature. Neat concept, not bad acting, and Shannyn Sossamon. Only drawback was the ending. I understand it, but bleh.

Recently saw Dante's Inferno. As anyone could tell it's thoroughly ridiculous, but still pretty fun to watch nonetheless. It did annoy me somewhat how wildly inconsistent and uneven it was, though.

Thinking of watching the Ghost Writer. Polanski just won best director at the BFF. Amusing how people get so worked up over him  ICCL.

Which one?

Cuz if it's the one with the cutout puppets, then I gotta say that I loved it.

Actually, it's the new one based on the game. I initially just added it because I saw that it was Dante's Inferno, without realizing that it was based on said game. I didn't take it out of my que because I heard that it was just fun to look at.
