Hello.
New to the forums. Registered a while back but never had much reason to post. Currently wiping the drool off my face after seeing others game rooms. Very heavy into the NES. First console I ever played with and looking to have the complete catalog someday. Hope to add to the forums in any way shape or form that I can.
Thanks.

yeah...I thought about going for the nes collection, tried several times...but I am also the ps3 whore on this forum thats on number 9 now...so....yeah. If you do it...good luck, and a tip...buy in bundle...sell your doubles cheap, and put the money back into the nes collection. Saves time.
Welcome.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hey guys! I've been reading the forums for quite a while, and I finally have decided to get an account. This has to be one of the friendliest communities I've seen which is hard to come by these days.
Not too sure what to say about myself...currently working on a Commerce major, I've been involved in game development in the past, and am in the process of finalizing a business start-up. Oh, and I'm from a snowy, dull city called Calgary. =)

Great IM reference. I played that game ENTIRELY too much on my C64 as a kid. I still love it though.

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
What's up guys - just registered and joined after reading these forums for the past few weeks. I'm 25 and have been a gamer since I got a brand new, giant gray Game Boy for Christmas. However, just recently I started collecting a bit more hardcore while focusing on vintage instead of the new games. I'm almost finished getting the top 25 games for every system I own, obviously an arguable list. Now I'm focusing on rare games and factory-sealed NES classics (Dragon Warrior, Blaster Master, Bomberman, Bubble Bobble, Castlevania II so far). I currently rent a house with my buddy from high school while finishing up my degree in Computer Science.
I love these forums and this site for all of the information and links it makes available to people looking for vintage information. Easily the best vintage site on the net in my opinion: keep doing what you do!

Hi everyone. I'm Josh, I'm only 14 but I love video games and I'm somewhat of a collector. I hope to be somewhat active here in this community. My console collection is in my sig with videos on my Youtube channel. I've been reading these forums for the past couple of days, mostly around the modding section. I don't really focus my collection on one specific console, but I love the Gamecube and most anything made by Nintendo. I hope to one day develop my own games, and do cartridge reproductions when I'm able to get a job, money, and the know-how. I live in Eastern Florida, south of Daytona Beach, so it's hard for a teenager to get a job. Of course, being a Freshman doesn't help much either.
I must say, I really do like this site, especially the Hidden Gems section.

Collects promo gaming stuff, certain import games, hockey memorabilia, and other oddball things. (sig and avy under construction)

Good to see more younger people get on this site. I joined when I was 14 too (2 years ago). Welcome to the community.Josh wrote:Hi everyone. You have got quite the collection there though sir. Sorry to hear that your PS3, and more so your Dreamcast, have broke though.
Older. Not wiser.
Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Yeah it is pretty sad. Though I am getting the PS3 fixed. The Dreamcast, however, isn't reading the discs. But thanks though.

Hey all,
Name's Carlo, 23 years old, and its good to be here! I bought something from the store (dreamcast vga box) and from there started exploring the site. Good stuff, and you folks here on the forums seem like a good bunch, so I figured I'd join up.
I, like many others, have more interests than I can afford (if only I were rich! keep playing that lotto, ha!) or have time to pursue properly. But I have also been fortunate enough to find a patient wife who actually encourages my money pissing. Its unusual, I know, but she likes helping me organize things (like stupidly big and expensive projects such as casing old games) so at least its fun for both of us!
I'm a comic book fan (a handful of japanese comics too), a tv/cartoon fan, a movie fan, passionate about books and literature of all kinds, and a huge video game nerd.
I don't claim to be completely knowledgeable about any these things, but I'm pretty broad just the same and always up for discussion.
That's all I got for now.
