Any recomendations of best CDR media to use for the Saturn?
Does anyone know if the black bottom CDRs work ok on the Saturn?

Black bottom CDR? What brand are they.
Generally speaking I use TDK for all my CDR based systems and never have issues, never bother with cheap brands, they skip music, dont work at all, etc.
Actually, other than DL-DVDR I use TDK for everything.

I have great success with Taiyo Yuden media for everything. Saturn, Sega CD, PSX. The TY DVD-Rs even work with my gamecube with no laser adjustment. They pretty much invented the CD-R, so they have to be good.

Yeah dude black bottom CDRs. If you look at the bottom of the PS1 original disk they have a black bottom. This is so they can read better and are not as hard on the laser. The darker the bottoms the better the disk. I just wanted to make sure this hold true for the sega saturn too...
I have been running Taiyo Yuden CD-R for years now... I think I will stick with them...
Thanks everyone...
