The latest iteration of Sid Meier’s decades old Civilization franchise has just been announced via business wire. Set to be published by 2K Games and created by Sid Meier’s Firaxis Games company, Civilization V will be developed
exclusively for the PC .

I thought you hated 3? 4 w/ the expansions is better than 3 imho, even though I spent more hours engrossed in 3.

Yeah, what was wrong with 4? Civ 2 will always be the best, but Civ 4 came really close.

I really didnt like 3, I liked 4 with the first expansion but the second and third ones sullied it to me. It doesnt help that the friend I use to play it with past away tragically...

Yeah, 3 was... an experiment, I guess. 4 mostly returned to what made Civ great. I didn't get into the expansions at all, so I dunno what they changed. Having a good partner to play with does mean a lot in these games, so I can see how that would put you off.
