I've decided to expand my collection a bit a seek out JPN-only games. I'd love to here your input.
What console?
Any console, but preferably PS1/2/3, xbox, GC, N64, NES, SNES, DC, Saturn.
What kind of games?
No RPGs. No first person shooters. Other than that, anything goes.
Price?
Anything that would normally sell for under $30.

SNES:
Ive seen all of these go for under $30 loose recently:
Super Bomberman 3-5
Gokujō Parodius!
Godzilla: Kaijuu Daikessen
Picross
Tetris 3
Battle Tetris Gaiden
Gundam Endless Waltz
Fire Pro
Battle Cross
N64:
I dont know of any worthy imports for under $75 on there sorry - the three I highly suggest are Bomberman 64 (which is 2d not 3d), Sin and Punishment, and Bangai-O. But all three hit $100 easy.

Re: Best JPN-only games?
Looking at my collection...
Saturn:
Vampire Savior
Waku Waku 7
X-Men vs Street Fighter
Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter
Elevator Action Returns
Puyo Puyo Sun
Magical Drop III
Real Bout Fatal Fury Special
PS2:
Sengoku Basara 2
Sengoku Basara 2: Heroes
Sengoku Basara X
Hokuto No Ken
Vampire: Darkstalkers Chronicle
That's about all I can think of right now. I know I'm forgetting a lot, but all of those get the most play out of my import collection.
Also, I haven't got these yet, but I'm really trying to track these imports down for the PS2:
Sega Ages: Dynamite Deka
Melty Blood: Act Cadenza
King of Fighters 2002 Ultimate Match
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
Sunsoft Collection
I'm thinking before I get too many more, though, I need to get a flip top for my PS2. Getting tired of using that damn slide card.

Are you against emulators? If not, some of those titles are playable with translation patches. I don't know about online pricing either.

@ Pulsar_t
You can get Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake in the US. It was on the Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence bonus disc, Persistence.
Can be found at GameStop for $20, although they don't always sell used copies with the bonus disc. Make sure you get the bonus disc.

I have the 2-DVD edition but never played the MG2 port on disc 2. Is it better than the fan translation?

Re: Best JPN-only games?
Don't think I played the fan translation - all I remember playing was the MGS3 version.
It's good, I'll give it that, but I have no idea how it compares.

Both the Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! games for the DS are awesome, crazy fun. It's addictive trying to get a high score on each song.

SoundVoyager on GBA. Probably my favorite Japan-only game. Probably one of my top 3 GBA games, as well.
