I'm in.

I've got a few games I'd put forward.

It's a nice idea - I won't get in because I'm in Europe and I think most of you guys are in America - there's complications with PAL and NTSC and higher shipping costs (I'm aware that Niode opted in and he's in the U.K. I think, but that's his choice :).

Ok, if I'm understanding this idea, you tell if you're in or not, and if you're the winning person, you do the same thing?

I also live in Europe, and I checked the shipping costs for a package under 2 kg and that's 24 euro to the U.S... So I'm not in, but I like the idea!

There is no actual requirement that if you win you do your own version of the giveaway, it's just that it would be nice if this thing kept rolling along. In fact, if anyone wants to become inspired and do their own giveaway regardless, please feel free! Set your own entry qualifications and winning qualification rules, have fun with it. It's all about making the Racketboy forums (and the world in general) a nicer place to live.

BTW, the games being offered are all NTSC-U.

Kingmohd is from Bahrain, shipping costs are definitely more prohibitive for him to send to the US than it is for us in the UK. He even made a topic on the subject regarding the extortionate amount his country charges for shipping to anywhere. If kingmohd can do it then I'm pretty sure I can afford it.

Also regarding region, it's not really that much of an issue these days, most people will have some method of booting imports. I'd be surprised if this wasn't the case for the vast majority of our users given the nature of the website.

Probably true. I'm not really into collecting imports, but still, for example, I can boot imports on my Dreamcast, PS2 and Saturn (using various versions of GameShark) and my N64 is modified to accept import carts (just a physical mod to the cart slot). Game Gear and Sega Master System games are regionless so I have quite a few imports for both. Quite a few 32X games are regionless too.
