Watched American Graffiti, liked it more when I was younger, the movie is too slow, beats around the bush and never really gets to the point.
Also watched Chaplin, seen it quite a few times and really enjoyed it, not as good as his book, but a good movie with great acting by Downie jr all the same.

At the library I got That Thing You Do, and a National Geographic special on cyclones, both on VHS (my library doesn't want to let go of VHS yet, most likely because they couldn't afford to get the DVD version of all the tapes they own). I liked both, but the cyclone one was especially interesting. The last 10 minutes of the movie they talk about how Andrew missed New Orleans, and how a big hurricane would one day hit NO, and how it would wreak tons of damage and flooding. It was made in 1996 or 5, but they got the predictions so correct it was amazing. Usually I disregard the doom most of their videos predict at the end.

I was wondering how people who had been here so much less time than me seemed to have so many more posts than me....then I came into this thread.

Watched Leon the Professional last night, absolutely amazing

What a rip-off! I reckon +90% of those who will go see this have no idea it's based on a FAR better mini-series that was scored by Eric Clapton.
