I've heard people yelling immaturely on the PC just as much as the Xbox and Playstation.
It's nowhere near the same state as it is on consoles. Every kid and their sister has a god-damn 360 or a PS3 or both. It's these little shit-heels that are spouting the most garbage, because they don't have any moderation. They can call anybody whatever they want because they don't have any repercussions for their acts.
I though playing a Video game was supposed to be a fun escape. Why would anyone want to play with a bluetooth earpiece to hear some jerk trash talking in the ear. Rather shoot in a FPS then blab anyways.

Oh yeah, PC is where its at for online multiplayer. Like, Xbox360 gets some good games but just because its such a large market; elsewise xbox360 is a waste. I mean, you can't mod it, you can't control the content, you can't make your own levels, you can't set up your own dedicated server, and you have to pay for XboxLive! What a gip. When I buy a game I want to play with my friends over the internet without having to pay Bill Gates. PC gives you control over what you buy.

I mean, ya prolly heard that Msft is dropping xboxlive support for the original xbox. WTF is that!? I would be so pissed. I.e. I buy Halo 2, pay for xbox live, line msft's pockets, and they f'ing stiff me 6 years after the game was released. Granted this happens on pc's too, but only with shiite companies (like EA http://www.joystiq.com/2010/02/17/next- ... -detailed/) [bullshit!].

But yea, I'd eat my own shirt before I bought I signed up for xbox live. Hopefully (as things progress) consoles become PC's and not the other way round.
Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for me.

I pay for xbox live because it's what my buddies have and it's the only way I get to play with a lot of them. Thankfully they have PCs too so it's not such a big deal.

I sadly feel that my gaming skill is on the decline too. I don't have too much problem with all the buttons though. I just don't have the same reflexes nor do I have the free time to memorize every map of a game or every item and respawn location. This always puts me at a disadvantage.

If you ever want to get your gaming skills back in line, start playing Cave shmups. I keep getting closer to that 1cc.

At least on a PC most servers are moderated, so trouble causers get booted, anti-cheating systems actually work to an extent, people who abuse glitches get booted/banned. Plus the hardware required to play modern games provides a sufficient barrier for entry. I enjoy playing online on PC 100x more than playing it on a console.

This is what my beef is as well. It gets to the point on xbox I have to mute EVERYONE in the serve before I go into the game. On ps3 its not AS bad, I mean normally, I have run into the same bs but yeah...now...correct me if I am wrong...but when the 360 first came out, and you picked what "region"/"level" of gamer you were...didnt it say on casual that it would be moderated for such things? What ever happend to that?!
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

The same thing that happened to blocking out porn on the internet.

I have been playing Ikaruga lately. I can only get to level 3 so far, normal difficulty.
