Re: The Online Gaming Leveler
Older games were less sophisticated and definitely fewer buttons.
I wonder how Marriot_Guy @ RFGen score would be with this:

I was tempted to get an Xbox just to try out Steel Battalion.

I thought the issue was he was playing an online FPS on the PS3.

The problem here is that he's playing console games online. He needs to just get a PC and start playing with the real gamers. IE not the immature spoiled little shits that get beaten up at school so feel they have to overcompensate by yelling at/insulting strangers over the internet.

I've never had problem with buttons, but then again, my home has always been the full 70 or so button Querty keyboard and 3 button mouse with scrolling.
Older. Not wiser.

That's what the article is saying. You are only 16 or something so the article isn't exactly about you.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I've never had problem with buttons, but then again, my home has always been the full 70 or so button Querty keyboard and 3 button mouse with scrolling.

I've heard people yelling immaturely on the PC just as much as the Xbox and Playstation.Niode wrote:He needs to just get a PC and start playing with the real gamers. Nah, I prefer consoles, PC's are fine, but I would just much rather have a console.
Re: The Online Gaming Leveler
You've heard it, but not just as much. There's enough of a barrier to entry to getting a headset working on the PC that you cut out a certain percentage of idiots.puke_face wrote:I've heard people yelling immaturely on the PC just as much as the Xbox and Playstation.Niode wrote:He needs to just get a PC and start playing with the real gamers. It's nowhere near the same state as it is on consoles. Every kid and their sister has a god-damn 360 or a PS3 or both. It's these little shit-heels that are spouting the most garbage, because they don't have any moderation. They can call anybody whatever they want because they don't have any repercussions for their acts.puke_face wrote:I've heard people yelling immaturely on the PC just as much as the Xbox and Playstation.Niode wrote:He needs to just get a PC and start playing with the real gamers. At least on a PC most servers are moderated, so trouble causers get booted, anti-cheating systems actually work to an extent, people who abuse glitches get booted/banned. Plus the hardware required to play modern games provides a sufficient barrier for entry. I enjoy playing online on PC 100x more than playing it on a console.
