GOOD horror movie retro games?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I can't find a good quality one anywhere, it seems the control is always flawed.

Well, if you specifically want a good horror game based on a film...you're a bit out of luck. I mean, we do have folks here who are fans of Nightmare on Elm Street or Friday the 13th, but there aren't many more horror games based on films that are more modern than that until you're talking about titles like Saw, which was just released for the current generation. Most of your horror titles can be pretty similar, but they're definitely their own IPs.

Isn't Luke a big fan of Nightmare on Elm Street? Or am I getting him confused with someone else?

I think he likes it... But I'm the one who's gone off on long rants about it several times.

Halloween (2600) is basically a macabre Elevator Action
Jaws (NES)
Gremlins 2 (GB/NES)
Evil Dead series (DC/PS1/PS2/XB)
The Thing (PS2)

EDIT: It's not horror-MOVIE per se, but I can't help but feel the need to mention the Splatterhouse series. I mean. C'mon. Wanpaku Grafitti anyone?
