I sold one AES on here (well... I think this site...), but it went really fast; within an hour or two of being posted.

I need some advice on two playstation1 deals I'm looking at, they are both $30 plus $4 shipping.
the 1st reads:
a few years old, still plays, minor scratches. 2 controllers, several games. some game cases are cracked, but games play. all cords included. also has stragedy guides for some of the games. comes with a memory card as well, unformated. games include: Symphony of the Night, Crash Bandicoot, Nightmare Creatures, Twisted Metal 2,3,4, etc.
the 2nd reads:
Paint specks on the console. Included are AsciiWare Arcade Stick Controller, RFU Adaptor, power cord, memory card, 2 games-Ford Truck Mania & Nascar 98 Collector's Edition.

so what one should I get. One hand I really want castlevania SOTN, but im also interest in the asciiware playstation stick. either way i'll be selling the console for extra $.
systems: SNES, NES, Sega Genisis, Sega CD, N64, PSone, XBOX, XBOX360 (RROD), GameBoy, GBA

the first one. Castlevania is probably worth $15-20 by itself if it's in good shape.

Game Gear Pricing Question (NOT FOR SALE)

Post by illiriks »

I was thinking about selling my Game Gear collection to fund something new. I would only really consider parting with it if it was a decent wad of cash, so I'm asking for a price check. It is one of the later Game Gears, it came with Super Columns. It is complete in box, with all the stuff it came with new. I have ten carts for it, Sonic I + II, GLOC Air Battle, Aerial Assualt, Mortal Kombat II, Super Columns w/Manual, The Lion King, The Majors, Jurassic Park w/Manual, and Ren and Stimpy. All of the carts work well with no blowing required. The console is in very good shape, with fully working speaker, and both battery doors. Screen is a little scratched, but far less than average. Any ideas as to the value? Thanks in advance.

I am guessing somewhere in the $50 range.

You can easily do a price check yourself by looking at the Ebay completed auctions.

I did, but I only found a few boxed and none were NTSC. The unboxed ones went for a pittance so I wanted to see what value the box brought into the equation, since boxes rule :D.

I bought my complete boxed game gear for $15. Games were anywhere from $1 (I'm lookin at you sonic 2) and $10 which was a rarer x-men game. SO sad as it is the game gear is generally worth nothing. To much supply and no demand.
