Videogame songs that get stuck in your head.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Videogame songs that get stuck in your head.

Post by J T »

Currently, my head is playing Rastan on repeat.

Was it just my neck of the woods, or did every arcade always have the Rastan music up way louder than every other machine?

Oh the list...

Dr.Mario - every single song
Mega Man 2 - especially metal man, flash man, bubble man, quick man
Fester's Quest - everything but the boss music
Blaster Master - 1st and aquatic level
Some Imported Baseball game from Japan on the Virtual Boy.

Sometimes I get the bass line, that's all there is anyway, from Rampage on the NES stuck in my head for hours. I blame myself, I should have never played that game over and over.

I also hear the Missile Command death sound a lot. That is one haunting sound.

Thanks to the Wii VC the music from the first stages of R-Type and Fantasy Zone, and various tunes from Blazing Lazers and the Soldier games pop into my mind regularly.

Lately the menu theme in Taito Legends 2 bounces around up there alot as well. That's one catchy mellow little tune.

Snatcher's One Night In Neo Kobe is probably my number one. It's so bad, I get this song stuck in other people's heads.

But PLOK!'s boss theme (found here) - from the 30 second mark on, loops in my head for days sometimes.
