Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
I may as well introduce myself as well. I discovered this site through my quest for a Dreamcast VGA cable (purchased the one here, by the way), have lurked around forums for a while and finally decided to join. I'm a Sega dude 'til death (nice to see an entire sub-forum dedicated to assholes like me
) and will hopefully spend the next year getting all my old consoles looking less crap-like on my recently acquired HDTV (RGB SCART? Transcoders? This is getting nuts).
I'll probably be buying the Saturn mod-chip from here in the not-too-distant future. Wonderful site ya' got here.

Hello all,
Been a long time RB reader, only just recently started scouring the forums though. I'm an amateur modder, a gamer since I can't remember and I can't remember the last time I wasn't playing something... Society would probably class me as a loser/murderer-waiting-to-happen depending on which newspapers you frequent.
Currently saving up to be an Aspire Revo to shove a load of emulation stuff on (Mame et al) and hook it up to my 42" HD LG lovely so I can see all those blocky textures exactly how they were never intended. Brilliant.
Love the site! Hopefully I'll enjoy many rounds of nerdish arguments about whether Cammy or Chun Li is better, or whether or not the new Sonic the Hedgehog game is going to be a pair of ropey old tights.

My name's Illirik. I game a fair bit, mostly retro on consoles but with a fair bit of modern PC gaming. My big consoles are PSX and Game Gear, and I play both quite a bit. My most prized gaming possessions are a complete in box Game Gear and a sealed copy of Metal Gear Solid 1. I also love computers and have a lot of old computer equipment, my most prized possessions in that realm being my modern gaming PC and a factory sealed Commodore 64. Enough about me..

Hi!
I'm Adam. I live in australia and am an avid collector of anything related to retro gaming! I currently have a Master System II, Mega Drive II with Mega CD II and 32X, Saturn, Dreamcast, NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox 360 and a Commodore 64! And still looking to add more! I stumbled upon this site looking for a Sega Saturn Mod Chip and am going to buy one.
Feels good to be around fellow collectors/gamers!

Re: New Members: Introduce Yourself!
Hey,
My name's Jeremy. I'm from Massachusetts; I'm 19 and currently studying Computer Science (I was majoring in Math for the first year, but switched last semester). I love video games (obviously), board/card games, movies, and music (metal, pre-80s rock, and video game music, mostly).
I've pretty much been a retro gamer my whole life, but have gotten a lot more into lately, and have been buying a lot of SNES games recently (easily my favorite system, and the only one I really collect for). Though I do collect SNES games, I am a player first and a collector second. I don't care about having boxes/instruction manuals/labels in pristine condition. Pretty much as long as it plays, and the label doesn't look like it was at Hiroshima, I'll be happy. My collection is pretty small right now, as the decision to start actually collecting SNES games was a fairly recent one. My two favorite games of all time (and I don't think this will really ever change) are Final Fantasy Tactics and Super Metroid.
I had never heard of racketboy before a couple of days ago, but being a huge fan of retro games and a forum junkie, I figured I'd sign up and see how I like it here.
