What is this Nyko Playstation thing?

Post by Hobie-wan »

Anyone have any idea what this Nyko Playstation accessory is? It has a 4 position switch, red led, green led, and both ends are male controller port plugs. No luck looking up the FCC ID, but its SXJRFHD2TO1. The information printed on the front and back board aren't helpful in identifying it. Anyone have a clue?

Almost looks like a wireless receiver for battery game controller.

4 position switch maybe allows you to customize your controller by moving the buttons around?

Couldn't have to do with memory cause its a controller connector.

Still searching ...........

I re-read your post, you mentioned both connectors have male pins.
Maybe to plug in both controller ports in the PS1 console.

It really sounds like this is a two player wireless controller receiver.
The 4 position switch maybe for different channels to receive signals.

CRTGAMER is right, it's 2 wireless controller receivers.
Almost positive I saw this or something very similar back in the gamestop days...the guy that traded it in had 2 controllers for it, but I remember we couldn't sell them separately, because they both used the one receiver.

I agree with everyone on it being a wireless reciever. My wireless Saturn controllers have the same thing.

Aha, here we go.

Although that means that this is useless to me and there may be some useless controllers out there.

SXJRFHD2TO1, by Nyko, is the wireless plug-in adapter for up to 4 wireless gamepad controllers, (ITEM # 81585) for Playstation 2.
A question of long ago I realize, however, since I didn't see an answer...
Hope this was usefull.
