Very, Very Great Find at a great price! My Blaze is also the Black with Red buttons version, cost me a $100 but well worth it. A rare great PS1 (PS2 Compatible) dip switch arcade controller.

Here is the grey one, the red and black is the best in matching older 80's Arcade Controllers.

You can make the Blaze into an optional Single player Dual Stick by adding in bypass toggle switches. Simply jumper Player two stick over to Player one Triangle, X, O and Square buttons with bypass toggles. I play Robotron, Virtua On, Smash TV and Black Widow just like Aracde versions. A Single Player two stick frenzy!

You can duplicate this with the Blaze, Bwah ha ha ha ha!

Nice find on the blaze. The only time I got one of them cheap, the guys wife shipped it w/no padding, destroying the internals, and I eventually abandoned it in favor of my other arcade stick projects.

Today I got a used dreamcast agetec stick in good shape, a 6-button plus triggers mad catz DC pad that's favorable for making arcade sticks with, and a saturn madcatz pad (that I just soldered into my other agetec in which the PCB had died, making it a saturn agetec stick modded with full sanwa parts). The Agetec and both pads I got today cost me $50 total.

It was a strange day to find them, I went to the used game sore I usually frequent with the intent of getting the saturn pad to cannibalize, only to find two used agetecs and a copy of radiant silvergun sitting there. I couldn't help but ask aloud "Are you shitting me?" Only $50 a piece tags on the agetecs and $199 on RS. I couldn't justify getting RS, but maybe one of these days.

Need FreeMCboot? I'll install it on your PS2 Memory Card for free if you cover postage both ways.
Consoles: I have too much stuff
Arcade: No seriously, I have too much stuff. Someone grab a shovel and dig me out of my basement.

I did a small mod on mine to make it an optional one player twin stick.

For your broken one, this guy changed out all the internals with commercial components:

Someone claims to have a 2600 Atantis II cartridge.

I'm surprised nobody else has jumped in with comments.

I think some of you are going to hate me!

So, if you don't know already, I currently reside in Japan with my girlfriend. I've been living in video game heaven since I got here and have made some really good finds. The one I had this weekend really takes the cake though.

There's a chain of media stores here known as "Geo". Basically they sell all manners of new and used media (books, cds, dvd/blu-ray, and games). Their retro selections can be very hit or miss though. As others have stated, the best place to look for gems in Japan is in more rural areas that haven't been picked over.

I just happened to be spending the last few days on vacation skiing in a resort town called Furano. My girlfriend and I, on our first day there, went into the downtown area to shop for souvenirs and have dinner. She pointed out that there was a Geo in town, and since she also enjoys my hobby, suggested we check it out.

Now, Geo does have some pretty good sales sometimes but this one was downright insane.

ALL Dreamcast and Saturn games were $.50 a piece, regardless of title! In addition, ALL Super Famicom, Mega-Drive, Wonderswan, PC-Engine, N64, and Neo-Geo titles were half off!!!

So, this is what I got for $30 total (everything CIB):

Dragon Force, Layer Section, Samurai Showdown III, Waku Waku 7, Super Puzzle Fighter IIX, Langrisser III, Langrisser V, Ogre Battle, Vampire Savior, Shining Force III, Shell Shock, and Gunbird

you are the luckiest guy ever. ^

Edit: NVM 2nd luckiest person. The landlady who found the CIB NTSC Stadium Events is luckier.

Sigh... rainnyx4, you have got to share some of that luck.

Just got back from the local flea market for probably the 12th time in a row without finding anything. Anything at all.

I guess I just need to stop going, but everytime I stop going, one of my friends will go and pick up Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI and god knows what else for $5 a piece. It's a conundrum, but I guess since lightning never strikes for me I should just give it up. It's just a waste of gas at this point.
