This guy can and he doesnt seem to be using any cheats, although he does abuse a few glitches.
OK so I'm sold now on trying out Sunshine before I get Mario Galaxy. I'm stunned with myself lately, platformers have always been my least favourite genre but NSMB got me into 2D and now SM64 has me into 3D
So I was wrong about Mario64

Yeah, that's where I learned how to beat the game so quickly. He's always had that 1:38 on me.Curlypaul wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_nK_JQZkE4

You can play all the way through 64 without ever getting any power-ups.
Re: So I was wrong about Mario64
It still amazes me that Nintendo got it right the first time. They took Mario to 3-D and set a standard for gaming that people still look to years later as a great example of 3-D platforming.

Re: So I was wrong about Mario64
I played it here and there when it was first released. Never owned a 64. Just now playing through on my own copy. Enjoying it alot. Some times the camera urks me a bit but for such an old game it still amazes me.
I've had sunshine for a long time. Picked up a copy when I worked at comp Usa for like.... 2 bucks sealed. Since then I've kept it sealed. After I beat 64 i'm going to open that sucker up and try out his game cube adventure.

I recently, and finally, was able to pick up a copy of Shindou Super Mario 64 with box and manual too.

There's one up on eBay right now, if any one wants it...This Japan-only, limited edition of Super Mario 64 is most notable for its Rumble Pak compatibility and inclusion of speech from the U.S. version. Some frame rate problems from the original Japanese version of the game have also been cleaned up, making it even more polished than the Western versions. Other minor variations particular to Shindou Super Mario 64 include newly designed package artwork, a unique cartridge label and slight graphical enhancements.

If you're finding you like 3-D platformers for the first time, let me recommend you play some of the Sly Cooper series on PS2. They are great fun.Curlypaul wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_nK_JQZkE4
