So you don't meet many Walmart boycotters around where I live.
There is always an exception.

Maybe it's because I was still a kid, but I remember Meijer stores being awesome. Spacious aisles, great prices, friendly staff. I met a life sized My Pet Monster at the one on Westerville, Ohio, that also might have something to do with why I loved that store.

Actually, I heard from others on this board that Twilight Princess on the Gamecube has been selling for $20 at Kmart. It might still be sticker priced at $50 but if you take it to the counter it should ring up as $20. This is what I heard. I remember because I searched both my local Kmart's for it the following week with no luck.
I went there and to my astonishment it was marked down to 15 bucks :D

A local Wal-Mart in my area has had a single copy of Fifa 05 for the original Playstation since it came out. An FYE at the mall has a single Playstation game that is over 12 years old, but I don't remember which one.

My guess is the generic ones that my walmart still carries. Its funny though...if you can find a "new" walmart in the middle of no where...go...they end up sending them ALL kinds of old shit from the warehouse to put on the shelves to hopefully sell to the "new" customer base...thats when you can find some really cool stuff.

To note something someone else said..."ask the manger nicly about marking something down" ya bull...those prices are set by someone higher than the manager and they will just throw it away vs doing a deal. THe place that had the gamecube I had gotten was like...I will throw in those 3$ bongos for free if you buy it...well, I have a shitload I dont want more. He even had the nerve to go...its rare man, its worth money, collectors will jump all over it....little did he know he was talking with someone that takes pictures of everything he has ever owned just as a keep sake to look at when I get down :P
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

Exactly how I remember it.

It's weird that next time I plan on going back to the Mid-West, I also plan on visiting a Meijer.

 Yeah, I know what you mean.

Back in '06 when I still lived in NJ an EB Games finally opened up in my hometown and they sent them the coolest stuff ever. They literally had Saturn, Genesis, SNES, N64, NES, PS1 and more up the wazoo. Sadly, we moved away two weeks later and all I bought from the store were Smash Bros and GoldenEye for the N64 before we left.

You know, sometimes I hate life.......
