Interesting:

A "full-sized clear light-up color-changing arcade emulation machine with a mirrored bezel and joysticks plated with precious metals."

Looks nice!

I've always wanted to make my own arcade cabinet i.e. get all the raw materials etc and then slap in a monitor, one of my old PCs + loads of hard drive space and some decent arcade sticks.

Only my complete lack of DIY skills stop me from doing this... :(

For somethign supposed to be so fancy some of the parts look a bit cheap. What's with the frosted plastic (?) case? I think something with a nice wood finish would look much fancier. And maybe a leather control facade to provide a comfortable wrist wrest experience.

For the amount they are charging I could buy four good arcade games AND make a mame cab. Heck for a grand or so you could make one of those, everything but the gold sticks. Granted we would be cheating and building a wooden infrastructure and the laying smoked plexi about an inch off of it with the mutlicoloured led mounted in there. The prices people pay for mame cabs astound me.
